Over 380 delegates at Liverpool's BT Conference Centre ensured that the 2008 Northwest Climate Change Conference was a great success. The theme of the conference, 'Impact on Change', sought to highlight the progress made to date in delivering the Northwest's Climate Change Action Plan.
The conference was opened by Bryan Gray, chairman of the Northwest Regional Development Agency, and featured presentations from industry, government and the European Commission.
Partners took the opportunity to hold afternoon workshops on a wide range of issues, including climate change adaptation, business engagement, behaviour change and energy generation.
