CLASP (along with the RIEP climate change programmes in other regions) has funded access to a new guide to the Carbon Reduction Commitment, produced specifically for local authorities.

The guide was initially commissioned for the London Boroughs, so the wording is a little London-centric, however the guidance, tools and templates are equally applicable to the NW.

Full details about the guidance, tools and templates are available on the CLASP CRC webpage. To access them visit this site and click on the "online registration form" link. You will be required complete a form and to accept the End User Licence Agreement, which explains copyright and distribution.

DECC has released its response to the earlier consultation on the Draft Order to Implement the Carbon Reduction Commitment. A number of key clarifications and changes have been made. To view an easy summary of the key changes click here.
