Action 5.5 - Accelerate activity to reduce the impact of our homes and the way we travel, including: Supporting ultra low carbon vehicle infrastructure and low carbon fleets through existing programmes. Lead: Northwest Regional Development Agency/Private Sector


Description: The Partnership is currently working with stakeholders from both the automotive industry and transport infrastructure from across the region to stimulate activity on electric and ultra-low carbon vehicles.



Latest Updates:

July 2010 - Greater Manchester and Merseyside (including Ellesmere Port) are preparing applications for electric vehicle charging infrastructure through Plugged-in-Places. Further information is available at the Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership.

August 2010 - Workshop on Low Carbon Vehicles held at the Northwest Development Agency, including representation from the NW Automotive Association, GMPTE, Merseytravel, and Energy Savings Trust.
