transport planning and climate change adaptation through the continued development and promotion of the NWDA Sustainable Buildings Policy.

Description: The NWDA has adopted national best practice for carbon reduction and susatinability for all of its investments in buildings. The NWDA Sustainable Buildings Policy which was original published in 2007 and has lead to flagship sustainable buildings projects such as the St Pauls Office Development in Liverpool and Maryport in Cumbria.

The policy is currently being reviewed as part of the Climate Change Action Plan 2010-12.
