This project involves setting up an energy camp for youth aged 15-18, and correspondingly a course for teachers in natural sciences.

Through lectures, practical activities and project work the participants learn more about wind energy and a sustainable energy future.
Experiencing nature in a unique coastal environment is also an important part of the programme.

Key objectives:

  • Increase knowledge and involvement regarding renewable energy and wind energy in particular.
  • Inspire young people to study natural sciences and renewable energy in the future, and enable teachers to boost this inspiration and interest in the subject.

PROJECT TARGETS & LEGISLATION

  1. Increased knowledge about wind energy.
  2. For the teachers - many new ideas for their own classes.
  3. Good experiences related to wind energy, nature and the stay as a whole.

  • The timing is a challenge, as it is set in summer time during the holidays
